The Arlington, 161 Snargate street - possibly the smallest pub in Kent. - The pictures above show the pub as it looked in 1983. Formerly the "Perseverance" and the "Avenue", Paul Barrett bought the property and following alterations, reopened it as a free house with this sign in October 1981. Further alterations and extensions followed in 1983. |
